MENTORING

Mentoring at PAL focuses on character development, goal setting, and decision-making skills. As a partner with the National Police Athletic/Activities League (National PAL) Mentoring Program, Lakeland PAL offers the GRIT curriculum, which helps youth build perseverance, confidence, and resilience.

Ages: 13-17 years old

    Why Join PAL

Joining Lakeland PAL means becoming part of a positive, supportive community where youth are encouraged to grow, lead, and succeed. PAL provides a safe and structured environment where young people can build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and learn from mentors who genuinely care about their future.

For families, joining PAL means knowing your child is surrounded by positive role models and engaged in activities that promote both personal growth and community pride. It is an investment in stronger youth and a stronger Lakeland.
