This July, our Teen Mentoring program went on the road for a month packed with career exploration, team building, and leadership development.
Our teens kicked off the month with a high-tech corporate tour of Lockheed Martin in Orlando, gaining direct exposure to careers in engineering and technology. They balanced hard work with plenty of fun on trips to TreeHoppers Ropes Course in Tampa, Clearwater Beach, and H2O Waterpark.
To top it all off, four of our Teen Mentors were selected to travel to Washington, D.C. to represent Lakeland PAL at the National PAL Youth Summit. These young leaders participated in workshops, connected with peers from across the nation, and brought back inspiring ideas for our local community.
